G5: A Temptation

iMac G5I never have a desktop actually... My notebook was bought 4 years ago, that's really old... and it's recently badly infected by some mysterious virus... and I can't really get on-line stably... which affects my blogging... The CDRom has broken down for too long... Actually I worked happier on an Apple a few years ago... Maybe it will save some of my time to syncronize my palm via bluetooth... and I am starting to work on the video documentation of 20beans, seriously... Well, after all, Andy Budd has taken back his original comments... and justified "when he saw one in person" both its outlook and functions... In fact, my flat is so small and I have nothing to hide... just like it...

So do you need portability or mobility? If it is portability, then try the new iMac. All you'd need to unplug is one cable (the powercord) if you use bluetooth and wifi. If you're unhappy about the choice, which based on my experience I can't fanthom happening, then you should know the resell value of a Mac is much higher relative to the sales price than that of a similar PC. You'll also notice the footprint of the iMac is smaller than that of a notebook.

Since switching to Mac, I really look forward to working on my computer. It is a pleasure, not a chore.

There aren't enough beautiful things in life. Don't miss out on any if you can avoid it ;-)

I thought you had a powerbook? The G5 iMac is very nice indeed - but bluetooth sync with Palm is very very slow. Much better with dock - Chris Ho

Those Macs are just SO pretty. That's really one of the biggest selling points.
